Squid Game Season 2 Release Date:
South Korean show SQUID GAME is one of the popular shows available on Netflix with its anticipated sequel set to release in 2024 as announced by Netflix. Recently Netflix announced the return of the squid game 2 with a short glimpse and first look of Seong Gi-Hun, who is ready to catch and find out the one who started all these in the upcoming season.
Along with the first look Netflix announced the series would arrive this year itself. Though the date and month have not been revealed it is expected to stream in the second half of 2024.
Is Squid Game 2 Is Still In Production?:
The filming of Squid Game has already started in 2023 and is set to finish the filming by June 2024 as expected, giving time for post-production and a huge release in the second half of 2024. The first season of Squid Game was having 9 episodes with a runtime of around 50 – 60 minutes per episode and now the second season has a total of 10 episodes.

The cast will have newcomers with four members from Season 1 including Lee Jung-Jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Gong Yoo and Wi Ha-Jun. The quest for a 48.6 billion cash prize through survival is an interesting one which became a huge success. As the plot changed it is unknown whether season 2 will have thrilling games or not similar to season 1.
No wonder the series becomes a hit again as the production house clarified as something interesting is coming out in season 2 which is worth the waiting time.
Directed by Emmy award winner Hwang Dong-Hyuk who is also a writer of the series has been prominent for his work with a lot of responsibility to direct the best version of the squid game. K-Dramas are best known for this kind of genre and Squid Game is not an exception with a lot of interest among fans for season 2.
