Everyone’s dream of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is going to be fulfilled in the coming years.   1. The soil used for construction has been obtained from 2587 holy places on earth, including soil from Yamunotri, Haldighati, Kedarnath, Badrinath and Ganga.
  2. About 150 holy waters have been used in laying the foundation for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya with more than 8 major rivers are added
  3. Along with the holy water of Sri Lanka from 3 seas and 16 places, Manasarovar waters are also included
  4. A time capsule has been implanted under 2000 feet beneath the temple which contains information related to lord Rama’s birth place, Ayodhya through which everyone will get to know about this temple and lord Rama for generations.
  5. The idols are prepared from shaligram stone which is 6 lakh years old and is brought from Nepal.
  6. Everything here is made of stones eliminating the usage of metals like iron and steel
  7. This temple is going to be the largest in India with a height of 161 feet and 28,000 sqft of area. In total the temple occupies 10 acres of land and 47 acres will be the temple complex.
  8. This construction is taking place only through donations on a large scale without the involvement of the government in construction.

The capsule that is beneath the temple stores evidence of the existence of lord Rama on earth which can be considered as proof in future generations. This temple is going to transfer the traditions from past to future generations. This temple is going to bring significance to Ayodhya as the birthplace of lord Rama who is unaware of our history. Once the temple gets ready it is suitable for 70,000 to 75,000 devotees per day to get lord Rama’s Dharshan in Ayodhya.

Fact: As much as nearly 24 lakh diyas can be lit in Ayodhya at once for any event.
