Free Education for All

Madhya Pradesh is going to provide free education from kindergarten to post-graduation to the girls in the state as part of one of its manifesto released ahead of the 2023 elections. Is this really possible to provide education free of cost until the completion of post-graduation? The single post-graduation seat costs around 5lakhs and that too depends on college and universities so let’s discuss how are they going to achieve this and how many are going to benefit from this manifesto.

Is This Possible?

If you think it is possible with a single manifesto then it is wrong to implement this they have introduced some other manifestos that would support this decision. One manifesto stated free education until class 12 for poor background families with an initial support of 1,200rs yearly to buy books, school uniforms, and bags which both boys and girls benefit from this. Also with a manifesto of setting up new IITs and AIIMS in every division with increasing in seats that would support the free education manifesto for girls up to post-graduation. So how many are going to benefit from this manifesto?

Everyone from a poor family background can benefit from this manifestos. Every Loksabha constituency will be equipped with medical colleges and nursing colleges in every district increasing the overall seat capacity of medical colleges. Setting up the new colleges reduces the demand for seats in the state where the cost per seat would reduce making the government fulfill the manifesto at ease. This is part of empowering poor family backgrounds in the state where the BJP Government mainly focuses on women empowerment and education. There are many other manifestos like LadliLaxmi Yojana in advantage to women that are already being implemented in the state as part of its previous election manifestos.

The Manifesto:

Free ration to the poor for the next 5 years along with LPG cylinders at a cost of 450rs to the women. Giving different manifestos for the development of the state like providing 100 units of power at a cost of 100rs to every house and development through infrastructure going to benefit everyone along with lakhs of women on priority in the state. All the manifestos of BJP were released on 11, November in the presence of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s 96-page “Sankalp Patra”. The BJP government is very confident after releasing its manifesto and stated all the manifestos would be fulfilled if the government is renovated once again to power.

Conclusion:

The BJP’s bold manifesto, promising free education from kindergarten to post-graduation, has sparked intense debate. While skepticism exists about the feasibility and motives behind this ambitious proposal, the government’s multifaceted approach and inclusion of supporting manifestos provide a comprehensive strategy. The emphasis on empowering economically disadvantaged individuals, particularly women, through various schemes demonstrates a commitment to holistic development. As the BJP expresses confidence in fulfilling these promises, the electorate awaits the potential impact of these transformative initiatives in the upcoming elections.
