This campaign was conducted in offices for 3 hours a week since 2021.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Digitalization:

Advantages-

  • This revenue generated would support the center in boosting social and economic objectives.
  • Digitalizing files can be a good practice to free space in the offices for clean office space.
  • Storing large data in the form of files is always at risk due to short circuit problems that may burn the files, leaving no traces of valuable data.

Disadvantages-

  • Even though much revenue is generated through scrapping, there are high chances for cyber threats over the servers storing valuable data.
  • It is better to use the generated revenue to maintain the servers so that data can be stored securely.
  • The data stored in the form of files in the office are accessible only to officers, but storing data in servers may be attacked by hackers for stealing data.

Conclusion:

This campaign can bring clean and substantial office spaces in government sectors. This initiative is the first of its kind in the government sector, generating massive revenue by scrapping files and using data online rather than files. Narendra Modi has initiated this campaign by looking into the need to store valuable data securely. He has been one of the most successful campaigns when his side of the party is in power.
