India to strengthen its international borders at Pakistan and Bangladesh in the next 2 years which covers a total distance of 6,386km amid difficulties in using the gadgets for infiltration.

It is very difficult to protect the border areas with gadgets all the time with huge gaps in fencing at some parts of borders, even though the jawans provide service effectively. In this article, we are exploring how India plans to tighten its security at International Borders.

Filling All the Gaps In Borders:

On the occasion of the 59th Raising Day celebrations, the government announced covering the borders of mountains, rivers,s and marshy areas with fencing. This fencing is going to cover the borders of India-Pakistan and India-Bangladesh with huge gaps.

A total of 560km has been covered in the last 9 years in normal land areas and planned to cover all the remaining hilly areas in the next two years. The military has been using technical gadgets for infiltration at these borders having gaps along with security forces. Although we have been using the security force it is tough to rely on gadgets blindly since the usage of technology has emerged for usage in different ways.

Security At Borders Gaps:

The India-Pakistan constitutes a distance of 2,290km while India-Bangladesh is 4.096km long. These long borders will be covered as part of this initiative. The gaps which are only about 60kms will be covered by a fence eliminating the risk of threats. Even though the gaps with less distance are not covered, the security forces will be placed which will be safer.

The government has facilitated all the required essentials at the border for the security force like electricity, water, and observation towers along with camps.

Upcoming Dangerous For India:

India has grown to new heights with achievements in different fields and by all these India has climbed to the top in the economy list holding 5th place currently. The economy of India is going to increase to great heights in the future by which dangerous threats also increase with time being from enemy countries to downgrade the nation.

Fencing the gaps that are supplied by power will guard the borders as support to the security forces. This will provide fencing at hilly areas and rivers that are not fenced before increasing the security at international borders.

The Border Security Force (BSF) jawans serving the nation have been very effective in eliminating the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir located near the India-Pakistan borders. The deployment of fencing in huge gaps at international borders ensures increasing security without dependence on technology in the future for different purposes.

FACT: 2.65 lakh Security has been protecting the borders at Pakistan and Bangladesh from 1st December 1965.
