Drishyam In Hollywood
Panorama Studios brought the international remake rights from the official version of Drishyam producers “Aashirvad Cinemas”. This time, the Malayalam industry film has crossed borders for the remake of the official Drishyam film in Hollywood and South Korea.
This is because it is the best crime story with several turns and twists, entertaining audiences in different industries. It was first remade in Telugu with the same title and even got bigger after doing a remake with Ajay Devgan.
This film will have a Hollywood style of making the best crime thriller in India. Panorama Studios has brought the remake rights of both Drishyam 1 & 2 from the official producers. This movie will have a recreated version in South Korea, a Spanish version, and a Hollywood remake.
Parnorama Studios Big Plan
Panorama Studios has partnered with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT films to remake the story in Hollywood and other industries. This production house will write the script according to the Hollywood style with a similar storyline. However, this will not be the end for Drishyam remakes in Hollywood and Korea, but the Panorama Studios are also planning for remakes in 10 other countries.
All the remakes will be ready for screening in the next 3 – 5 years, spreading the Indian story style to the world cinema. The Bollywood producer of Drishyam2 said, “they have received immense love from Indian audiences to the film and with all the support and success the film was made into franchise”. Adding further, the producer said, “we want it to be enjoyed by audiences globally”.
Drishyam 3 Release Date
The first official version of Drishyam film from the Malayalam industry was screened in 2013 and revolved around an unexpected murder. This story was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. It was an instant hit in all the industries wherever the film was released.
This made him write the film into a franchise, becoming a hit in all languages. Drishyam 3 is the film franchise’s final instalment, which will be released in 2024 in Malayalam. This time, the story revolves “around Nandini where she will have a constant fear regarding the situation, and the situation even worsens when DIG opens the case again”.
Jeethu Joseph and Abhishek Pathak have written the storyline for Drishyam 3, with Hindi and Malayalam versions set for release in 2024, as reported. Drishyam 3 remakes in other industries are yet to be announced and should be made.
Studios Of Remake
Karz and Bindley of Gulfstream has released an official statement regarding the remake. They said “the film is a timeless thriller that has entranced audiences across the globe and we can’t wait to bring the movie to fans here in U.S”. Gulfstream has produced popular movies like “Blended” and “Upgraded”.
While the founder of JOAT films “Jack Nguyen” said “Drishyam as a unique yet enduring story that has resonated with audiences worldwide as evidenced by numerous remakes it has spawned”. Drishyam film was also remade in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Sinhala and Mandarin languages.
The cast and crew members in 3rd film will be the same as per the previous films in the franchise and this is only due to story revolving around same characters. Hope Drishyam movie writers in Hollywood industry delivers a masterpiece due to its storyline and twists.
