An exchange filed by the Infosys company revealed that the grandson of Narayana Murthy now owns a 0.04% stake in the company. The 0.04% stake in the company equals 1,500,000 shares, which makes him India’s youngest millionaire.
The mode of the transaction was made off-market and made as a gift for Ekagrah Rohan Murthy. Ekagrah was born in November to Rohan Murthy and Aparna Krishnan. He is the 3rdgrand child of grandparents of Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy.

Ekagrah name is based on a Sanskrit phrase that implies steadfast focus and persistence. The Murtys were inspired by Arjun’s focus and resolve in the Mahabharata, known as “Ekagrah” in Sanskrit.

In terms of ownership of Infosys Akshata Murthy holds a 1.05% stake, Sudha Murthy owns a 0.83% stake and Rohan owns a 1.64% stake in the company. The Infosys company was founded by Murthy along with 6 other co-founders in 1981.
