New Genetic Weapon That Could Wipe Out Entire Races
China’s Ministry Of State Security disclosed life-threatening genetic weapons which could bring irreversible damage to life in the world.
What Is The Exact Issue?
China accused some countries of making genetic weapons. China revealed that certain NGOs recruited Chinese volunteers to collect biodiversity distribution data in the name of biological research. The country accused the NGO of stealing species data.
What is a genetic weapon and its consequences?
According to UNODA Biological weapons disseminate disease-causing organisms or toxins to harm or kill humans, animals or plants. They can be deadly and highly contagious. Diseases caused by such weapons would not confine themselves to national borders and could spread rapidly around the world. The consequences of the deliberate release of biological agents or toxins by state or non-state actors could be dramatic. In addition to the tragic loss of lives, such events could cause food shortages, environmental catastrophes, devastating economic loss, and widespread illness, fear and mistrust among the public.
Why is China concerned?
Compared to traditional biological weapons and chemical weapons, genetic weapons have stronger and long-lasting harmful effects. They are difficult to detect.
If different race data is provided, each ethnic group is analyzed and understood. Due to this such genetic weapons can be made that target a specific race or community and there is a possibility of wiping it off completely.
Which country is making genetic weapons?
However, China did not mention the name of any country but expressed its concern over the issue. It said that the NGO gathered extensive data from volunteers. The NGO has ties with other governments and certain non-state actors which makes it a serious issue.
Since the claims are just words without any evidence and proved accused, the matter is more of a gossip than news. But one should be aware of ongoing techs and ongoing possible means that can be used for warfare. Biosecurity is a shared responsibility of all society. And all countries should respect that and make guidelines for it. It’s just like a nuclear weapon if made by all broken by all will wipe all. The only difference will be the estimated number of days.
